Axis Sound System

This Dj support for PAMA INTERNATIONAL is cancelled. The gig will not take place.

Axis Sound System will be playing at The Vine in Sowerby Bridge in West Yorkshire on FRI 11th Dec 09.
The night will be free to get in and will run from 8pm till 2am. Poster and more details should be on top of this page soon.
Dont forget, Ill be doing a Dj support to PAMA INTERNATIONAL (great Reggae/Ska band) at the New Beehive in Bradford on FRI 18th DEC 09.

POWAH (Huddersfield), DANCEHALL SCIENCE (Leeds), THE LIVE ROOM (Bradford). As well as the monthly vintage reggae nights at Marshalls Bar in Hebden Bridge (1st Sat of month), heres some more worth mentioning… POWAH Dubstep nights in Huddersfield at Legends nightclub. These have been running for a year now, once a month. The best Dubstep Djs on the Axis Sound System on a bigger scale, next one – POWAH Vs EXODUS (SUBDUB) on Sat Oct 24th.
DANCEHALL SCIENCE (Leeds). a new night featuring Djs covering all aspects of reggae music. Dr.Huxtable (Axis) will be guest Dj on Sunday 18th October.
THE LIVE ROOM (Bradford). A weekly night of live bands from every genre. Dr. Huxtable will be the supporting Dj for PAMA INTERNATIONAL (great Reggae+Ska band) on Dec 18th.

Axis sound will be at the White Lion in Mytholmroyd (Yorkshire) on Sat 18th Sept, 8 till late.
This will be a vintage Reggae, Soul and Funk night with Dr.Huxtable @the controls. Free in all night.

Due to not getting any details of this years Pal Gowan Festival from the organiser, Im pretty sure AXIS SOUND SYSTEM will not be there. I have no idea whether it is going ahead or not.

JULY 10th+11th. MARGATE REGGAE AND SOUL WEEKENDER. With PAT KELLY LIVE ! Dr.Huxtable guesting on the SOUNDS AND PRESSURE Sound System with Phil Bush.
JULY 24th+25th. WICKERMAN FESTIVAL (Scotland). The big one. AXIS SOUND SYSTEM all weekend, night and day, with loads of guests inc. Mikey Don, Perry B, CoJo, Emjay, Mr.P, Chapter 4 posse + others.
AUGUST 13,14,15,16,17th. PAL GOWAN Festival (Scotland). All day and night with AXIS SOUND SYSTEM plus the usual suspects.
Plus all my usual regular haunts. (But no Marshalls Bar in JULY. (at Beat Herder Festival).

Saturday 1st August will see for the first time, Dr.Huxtable and CoJo playing their own sound systems in one dance.

After many years of guesting on each others, this will be a unique chance to be entertained by both. Plenty of ‘One fe one’ business later in the evening.
